Le Clos' home destroyed by fire the night after his record-breaking Commonwealth swim

South African swimmer Chad le Clos broke a Commonwealth Games record to become the most decorated athlete in the competition's history. The very next night, his apartment in South Africa was completely destroyed in a fatal fire. Le Clos described the tragedy as "heartbreaking."
