IBAC report: Andrews government acted improperly, but no firefighter union blackmail proven

Victoria's anti-corruption watchdog IBAC has tabled a long-awaited report finding that senior members of Daniel Andrews' former government engaged in "serious and concerning" conduct in dealings with firefighters union boss Peter Marshall. However, no evidence of blackmail by the union was found. The investigation took eight years, having begun.
