US revokes Brazilian ambassador's visa over Trump's blocked nominee

The U.S. State Department revoked the visa of Brazil's ambassador to Washington in a direct response to Brazil's refusal to grant diplomatic approval for Daniel Perez, President Trump's nominee for U.S. ambassador to Brazil. A senior State Department official said the visa would be reinstated immediately once Brazil approves Perez's accreditation.
