MI6 ranked top European foreign intelligence service in peer review
Britain's Secret Intelligence Service MI6 has been ranked as the most powerful foreign intelligence agency in Europe, ahead of France and the Netherlands, in a peer review conducted by 60 professionals from 25 countries. MI6 scored 251 points and was commended for its expertise in recruiting high-level informants and penetrating ruling elites in Russia, China, Iran and Turkey. Reviewers also noted the agency's "taste for dirty tricks."
