"Naval": cancelling the Caracal contract was a fatal mistake — Poland would have dozens of helicopters by now
Military expert Paweł Mateńczuk "Naval" described the cancellation of the Caracal helicopter contract as a "mortal sin," arguing that had it gone ahead, Poland would today have dozens of aircraft, trained pilots and weaponry. In an interview, he also addressed the brutal realities of modern warfare and years of neglect by successive governments in defence policy. He warned that Poland is not adequately prepared for a potential armed conflict.
