Copper up 52% in a year, outpacing Bitcoin which fell 45%

Copper on the COMEX exchange hit $6.63 per pound on Tuesday, up 51.6% year-on-year. Bitcoin lost roughly 45% over the same period, falling back to around $63,500. The contrast recalls a bet made by investor Stanley Druckenmiller about six months ago, when he favoured copper over cryptocurrencies.
