1,323 migrants crossed into Melilla — over 1,000 returned to Morocco

During last week's migration crisis, 1,323 people crossed from Morocco into the Spanish exclave of Melilla. Spanish authorities confirmed that 1,063 of them have already been returned to Morocco. The incident affected both Spanish exclaves on the African continent, with Ceuta also seeing a major surge.
