ORP Wicher to be launched on 13 August as Poland eyes second frigate

Construction of the first frigate under Poland's Miecznik programme is on schedule. The future ORP Wicher will be christened on 12 August and launched the following day. Polish defence group PGZ has simultaneously begun talks about ordering a second frigate of the same class.
