PZPN gives no heat guidelines to referees as four Polish Cup matches risk temperatures above 36°C

According to FIFPro guidelines, four of nine scheduled Wednesday matches in the Polish Cup preliminary round should not be played in temperatures exceeding 36°C. Poland's football association PZPN has issued no guidance to referees on how to handle the extreme heat. Critics warn the organisers are taking on enormous responsibility by pressing ahead with the fixtures.
