Nearly 1,500 oncology coordinators work in Poland, but most cancer patients don't know it
Poland has nearly 1,500 oncology care coordinators whose role is to guide cancer patients through the complex hospital system after diagnosis, but many patients and their families are unaware this support exists. Experts stress that coordinators can significantly ease the burden on patients at one of the most difficult moments of their lives.
