Polish weather agency warns of 40°C heat midweek, level-3 alerts and tropical nights in the south

Poland's IMGW meteorological institute has issued third-level heat alerts for Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures forecast to reach 40°C. In the south-east of the country, nights will be tropical, with temperatures staying above 23°C after sunset. Many public offices have announced shorter or adjusted opening hours due to the heatwave.
