Polish sanitary authority tightens beauty salon rules: 1-minute handwashing, sterile tools

Poland's Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) has issued new guidelines for beauty salons, requiring clean and disinfected workstations, adequate ventilation, opening sterile tools in front of clients, and handwashing for at least one minute. The new rules come amid a wider dispute over whether aesthetic medicine procedures should be restricted to licensed physicians only.
