Skip your spa stay, lose access for a year — Poland's health ministry plans penalties

Poland's Ministry of Health and the National Health Fund are considering a one-year ban on sanatorium stays for patients who book a place and fail to show up. The penalty is intended to reduce the number of wasted slots at spa resorts. Between 2023 and 2025, unused places reportedly cost the sanatorium sector over 158 million złoty in lost revenue.
