EU offers Spain emergency border aid after 70,000 migrants cross into Ceuta in one week

The European Union has offered Spain emergency border assistance following an extraordinary meeting convened in response to a migration crisis. More than 70,000 migrants crossed into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta in the space of one week. The EU is prepared to support Spain in managing the border situation at the enclave.
