Qatar says draft US-Iran deal on Strait of Hormuz is being circulated

Qatar, which has previously mediated between the US and Iran, announced that a draft deal on reopening the Strait of Hormuz is currently being circulated between the parties. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent suggested an agreement may be imminent. The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical oil shipping routes.
