Wells Fargo launches proprietary blockchain to tokenize Wall Street settlement payments
Wells Fargo has joined JPMorgan and Citigroup in the race to tokenize Wall Street's settlement infrastructure. Payments will run on the bank's proprietary blockchain and be routed automatically through its existing client interface. It is the latest major US bank to move part of its settlement operations onto distributed ledger technology.
