Polish expert: Europe will always attract migrants due to surrounding poverty

Jolanta Szymańska, migration policy expert at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM), says Europe will always attract migrants because it is surrounded by vast areas of poverty. Speaking to Onet, she identifies new flashpoints on EU borders and assesses the bloc's migration policy as a test of European cohesion. She warns that attempts to reach EU territory will persist as long as the economic gap with neighbouring regions remains.
