Polish Patient Rights Ombudsman: "Lex Charlatan" targets quackery, not medical staff

Poland's Patient Rights Ombudsman has assured the public that the so-called "lex charlatan" legislation targets medical misinformation and quackery, not licensed healthcare workers. He warned of a "massive wave of medical disinformation" potentially fuelled by countries hostile to Poland. The statement came after OKO.press asked whether the new rules might inadvertently restrict the professional freedom of medical staff.
