Żabka hit by cyberattack: franchisee data breached, customer data safe

Polish convenience store chain Żabka notified security services and the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) after a cyberattack targeted its franchisee communication system. Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski confirmed that transaction data and Żappka app customer data were not compromised. The company is cooperating with authorities and has taken remedial action.
