White House science plan overlooks social sciences, public health and open borders
Nature's editorial board criticised the White House's plan for the future of US science, arguing it focuses narrowly on technology and engineering while neglecting social sciences, public health and the humanities. Achieving a "new golden age for science" also requires open borders for foreign researchers and proper funding across all disciplines, the journal argues.
