Ozone compounds heatwave in Poland — first air quality alerts issued

High summer temperatures are fuelling the formation of ground-level ozone in Poland, making breathing difficult and posing health risks. The first ozone air quality alerts of the season have been issued across the country. People with respiratory conditions and children are considered most at risk during the heatwave.
