Lake Brenets on Swiss-French border dries up by 9 metres
Lake Brenets, situated on the Swiss-French border, has reached a record-low water level, dropping by 9 metres. The lake, a popular tourist destination, is now almost completely dry and can no longer be used for navigation. Water levels continue to fall daily.
