Milan start-up found a full macOS takeover exploit via ChatGPT but hit Apple's submission cap

A Milan-based start-up discovered a critical macOS vulnerability allowing full system takeover, using ChatGPT as part of its research process. Before it could report the flaw, the team hit Apple's newly introduced submission cap on its bug bounty programme. The cap was reportedly introduced in response to a flood of low-quality AI-generated reports, leaving a serious exploit temporarily unreported.
