AI nearly caused Apple to miss a serious macOS security flaw

A vulnerability in macOS's VNC screen-sharing mechanism allowed anyone with the password to create files with elevated privileges and take control of the machine. The patch was delayed because an AI-related mix-up nearly caused Apple to dismiss the bug report entirely.
