Twelve years after ISIL's genocide: Yazidis still await justice

Iraq's Yazidi community marked 12 years since ISIL's assault on Sinjar, recognised by the UN as genocide. Thousands of Yazidis continue to seek justice for the massacres, rapes and abductions carried out by ISIS. Many survivors and their families have not returned to Sinjar, and most perpetrators have not faced trial.
