Umerov appointed head of Ukraine's foreign intelligence service

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Rustem Umerov as head of Ukraine's foreign intelligence service. Umerov previously served as secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council. He will retain his role as Kyiv's chief representative in peace talks with Russia.
