DR Congo Ebola outbreak kills over 1,700 as WHO accelerates trials

The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has killed more than 1,700 people. Nearly 90 percent of reported cases are concentrated in the province of Ituri. The World Health Organization is accelerating clinical trials in response to the escalating death toll.
