Bison attacks tourist in Białowieża Forest after man approached too closely

A bison knocked down and injured a tourist in Białowieża Forest after the man approached the animal too closely. Białowieża National Park issued an appeal urging visitors to maintain a minimum distance of 50 metres from bison. Park staff commented that the incident clearly showed recklessness on the visitor's part.
