157 migrants rescued in the Channel after boat engine fire

French and British rescue teams saved 157 migrants attempting to cross the English Channel after the engine of their boat caught fire. The rescue operation required coordination between the two countries' services. The Channel remains one of the most dangerous migration routes in Europe.
