14th pension: exceeding 2,900 zł threshold doesn't mean losing the benefit

Polish seniors whose pension exceeds 2,900 zł gross will not automatically lose their 14th pension payment due in September — the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) applies a "złoty for złoty" reduction mechanism, cutting the benefit by the amount over the threshold rather than eliminating it entirely. Full loss of the payment only occurs at significantly higher income levels.
