Bird flu could wipe out 40% of Australia's St Kilda little penguin colony

Volunteers at the little penguin colony in St Kilda, Australia, fear that bird flu could kill between a fifth and two-fifths of its 1,400 birds. The disease poses a severe threat to the already small colony. Efforts are under way to protect the remaining penguins from further spread of the virus.
