Nigeria dismantles its largest ever meth lab amid Mexican cartel push into the country

On 29 July, Nigerian law enforcement dismantled the country's largest ever meth lab, found in an abandoned shed on the border of the Abidagba and Iroto villages. The facility covered about one acre and was part of an alleged multimillion-dollar transnational drug operation. Investigators point to links with Mexican cartels expanding their operations into Africa.
