Infantino fights to save FIFA presidency as Sweden, Wales and England withdraw support

Gianni Infantino is fighting to preserve his FIFA presidency ahead of an election. The football federations of Sweden and Wales have withdrawn support for his re-election bid, with the English FA reportedly set to follow. Europe's UEFA and North America's CONCACAF had previously rebuked him, largely over his now-scrapped plan to sell shares of World Cup profits to private investors.
