Court orders Piebiak's association to apologise to Minister Żurek over doctored photo
A Polish court has ruled that the association Prawnicy dla Polski, led by former deputy justice minister Łukasz Piebiak, must apologise to Justice Minister Dariusz Żurek for spreading a doctored photo falsely showing him making an obscene gesture. The ruling is the first of its kind against the association, which groups judges who benefited from the justice reforms under Zbigniew Ziobro. The verdict was welcomed as a landmark decision against disinformation.
