Next Xbox "Project Helix" will play every Xbox game ever made, from 2001 onwards

A leaked internal memo obtained by The Verge's Tom Warren reveals that the next Xbox, codenamed Project Helix, will support games from every Xbox generation — including the original 2001 Xbox, the 2005 Xbox 360 and all subsequent consoles. It will also play PC games, potentially giving it the largest game library of any home console ever. Microsoft has not officially confirmed these details.
