Polish Health Ministry demands inspection after reports of grim mortuary conditions at Warsaw hospital

Poland's Ministry of Health has demanded urgent explanations and an inspection at a Warsaw hospital on Banacha Street following an Onet report about appalling sanitary conditions in its mortuary. The ministry stated that hospitals are legally required to wash and cover the deceased, ensure their dignity, and store bodies for no longer than 72 hours.
