Nawrocki pardons Pytel, jailed for life for murder he didn't commit

President Karol Nawrocki pardoned Piotr Pytel, who had been serving a life sentence for murder. An investigation later established that someone else committed the crime. Pytel thanked the president in an interview with TVN24, saying: "He gave me my life back."
