Poland's grid operator activates capacity market alert Tuesday from 5–7 pm

Poland's transmission system operator PSE activated a capacity market alert on Tuesday 4 August, running from 5 pm to 7 pm. The mechanism obliges market participants to provide additional power or reduce energy consumption. PSE stressed that the national grid remains stable and is prepared for elevated demand caused by the heatwave.
