Kubkowski swims Baltic Sea solo — lost consciousness five hours before finish

Bartłomiej Kubkowski became the first person in the world to swim across the Baltic Sea, completing the challenge on Sunday evening. The worst crisis came five hours before the finish when the swimmer lost consciousness and experienced hallucinations. Despite this, Kubkowski pushed on and completed the historic swim.
