Nearly 500 deaths recorded during Poland's June heatwave
Poland's emergency services recorded nearly 500 deaths nationwide around the turn of June and July, according to data from the Ministry of Health. The deadliest day was 29 June, when temperatures hit a national record of 40.5°C.
