Nawrocki vetoes windfall tax on fuel firms — government's cheap fuel plan in jeopardy
President Karol Nawrocki vetoed a bill introducing a windfall tax on fuel companies. Minister Maciej Berek admitted on the Graffiti programme that the veto damages the government's plans tied to the CPN programme and the possibility of lower fuel prices for drivers before the end of the summer. "This hurts us," said the head of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers.
