13-year-old dies after box jellyfish sting in Thailand

A 13-year-old boy died after being stung by a deadly box jellyfish while swimming in the Gulf of Thailand, German news agency dpa reported. Following the tragedy, Thai authorities tightened safety measures at beaches. Tourists are being warned against entering the water.
