Poland braces for up to 38°C on Tuesday and Wednesday before cool-down

Poland is entering the peak of its August heat wave, with temperatures expected to reach 38°C in many regions on Tuesday and Wednesday. The national meteorological institute IMGW has issued alerts of varying severity for almost the entire country. Cooler weather is forecast from Thursday onward.
