Morawiecki proposes "Parental Salary" to replace 800+ benefit. Experts are sceptical

Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, through his Rozwój Plus association, is proposing a "Parental Salary" that would partly replace existing benefits for parents, including the 800+ programme. The idea aims to tackle Poland's demographic crisis, but experts are sceptical about its effectiveness both demographically and politically. "It doesn't work like: put in a coin and a child pops out," specialists warn.
