Mastercard acquires BVNK to scale stablecoin and tokenised payments

Mastercard has completed its acquisition of BVNK, a company specialising in stablecoin and tokenised asset payment infrastructure. The deal is aimed at helping enterprises scale blockchain-based payment use cases. Mastercard says it will leverage BVNK's expertise to build out its own digital payments infrastructure.
