Świeniewicz quit Poland's volleyball squad over online hate — and says nothing has changed

Dorota Świeniewicz, a two-time European champion with Poland's volleyball team (2003 and 2005), tearfully announced years ago that she was quitting the national squad because of anonymous online hate. Her decision caused a nationwide stir at the time. Years later, Świeniewicz said with bitterness that despite her public stand, the problem of online hatred in Poland has not improved.
