Kowalczyk: Poland must accept that its population will shrink
Commentator Krzysztof Adam Kowalczyk argues that instead of spending billions on demographic programmes or pursuing unrealistic plans to bring Polish diaspora back home, Poland should accept that its population will decline. He says the country should focus on preparing to function with fewer people. Measures taken so far have not reversed the negative demographic trend.
