Japan earthquake: 46,000 homes without water as cleanup begins in sweltering heat
More than 46,000 households in southern Japan remain without water following a recent earthquake, with many also facing fuel shortages. The region is suffering from intense heat, raising fears of heat-related illness among residents and cleanup workers. Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi visited the disaster-hit area as recovery efforts get under way.
