Berrettini knocked out in Montreal by debutant Navone in three-set upset

Matteo Berrettini was eliminated in the first round of the ATP Masters 1000 in Montreal, losing to Mariano Navone in a three-set, three-hour match. Martin Landaluce also made an early exit, falling to Nicolas Mejia. Both results were surprise upsets on the hard courts.
