Border wall contractors ordered to stop drilling wells in drought-hit New Mexico

US Customs and Border Protection ordered crews building Trump's border wall to halt groundwater drilling in drought-stricken New Mexico. Local ranchers warned that pumping water needed to mix cement could threaten their livestock. The order applies to construction of the second border wall along the southern frontier.
